Terms of service

About these terms
These terms cover your use of Sendlet at sendlet.email, provided by Web Methods Ltd (company number 05824045), trading as Sendlet ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sendlet you agree to them. If you use Sendlet for a business, you agree on its behalf.
If you're a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our refund policy explains cancellations and refunds.
The service
Sendlet lets you give AI agents and other software private links (endpoints) that send email only to recipients you've added and who have accepted your invitation. What you can do depends on your plan: daily email allowances, recipients, groups, attachments and other features.
We work to keep Sendlet available and reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, or that every email will be delivered: delivery also depends on recipients' mail providers. We may change or improve features over time. If we remove something important from a paid plan, we'll tell you first.
Your account
- You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that mailbox secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in.
- Treat endpoint URLs like passwords. Anyone with one can send to its recipients within its limits, and you're responsible for sends made with your endpoints. You can pause, rotate or revoke an endpoint at any time.
- You must be at least 18, or old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- Give us a working email address, so we can reach you about your account.
Acceptable use
You must only send email that the recipient expects and is happy to receive. You must not use Sendlet to:
- send spam, unsolicited marketing, or email to anyone who hasn't agreed to hear from you;
- send phishing, malware, scams, or anything deceptive, threatening, harassing or illegal;
- invite people as recipients without their knowledge, or keep inviting someone who has declined;
- get around limits, unsubscribes or other safeguards, for example by using several accounts;
- break the law, including data protection, privacy and anti-spam laws, or infringe anyone's rights;
- probe, overload or attack Sendlet or other people's systems.
You're responsible for the content your agents send, and for having a lawful basis to email your recipients.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you send through Sendlet. You give us permission to store, process and deliver it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Plans and payment
- You can use the free plan without paying. Its limits may change; we'll give notice of anything significant.
- Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe. They renew automatically until you cancel.
- Prices are shown before you pay, in the currency you pay in, and include any tax we're required to charge.
- You can cancel at any time from your Account page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to the free plan.
- We'll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects your subscription. You can cancel before it takes effect.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it for a short time. If it still fails, your account moves to the free plan.
- Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Suspending or ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. This cancels any subscription and deletes your data, as the privacy policy describes.
We may pause endpoints, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or harms Sendlet's ability to deliver email for everyone. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close a paid account for no fault of yours, we'll refund the unused part of your subscription.
Liability
We aren't responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for business losses such as lost profits or opportunities, or for problems caused by things outside our reasonable control. For business customers, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. If you're a consumer, you also keep your statutory rights.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect; if you don't agree, you can cancel and close your account. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can hear any dispute. If you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts, and you keep the protection of your local law.
